Photo Advice at Taco Night, Members & Guests Only, April 23
Members of the National Press Club Photography Committee will answer Club members' photo and camera questions at Taco Night from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 23, in the McClendon Room. There will be no formal presentation. Club members are encouraged to bring their cameras and receive one-on-one photographic assistance. The Photo Committee has received special permission for members and their guests to take photos in the McClendon Room that night; however, taking photos will, as always, be prohibited in the Reliable Source restaurant.

The members' breakfast will be served in the Fourth Estate Restaurant on Friday, April 23, from 7:30 to 10 a.m. As always, please be prepared to show your membership card to the attendant. Food may not be removed from the room unless paid for. Breakfast service will return to the Reliable Source on Monday, April 26.

Indo-Celtic Musician Discusses Cross-cultural Influences, 6:30 pm April 26
Indo-Celtic musician and lecturer Kanniks Kannikeswaran will play recorded music and discuss the European influence on Indian music from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday April 26 in the Zenger Room. Kannikeswaran will discuss the influence of 18th and 19th century European music had on the Indian master composer of that time, Muthusvami Dikshitar.

Satirist Mark Russell Entertains at Spring Hoot
Political satirist Mark Russell entertained more than 200 Press Club Silver and Golden Owls (long-time members) and their guests April 15 and received a standing ovation after a steady flow of biting bipartisan political humor. He opened with a announcement that he was seeking the upcoming vacancy on the Supreme Court, quipping that someone had to represent the bow-tie crowd in America.
