Penn State President Rodney Erickson, who has presided over the university as it deals with the child sex abuse scandal, will address the National Press Club at a luncheon Oct 31st. Erickson took over more than a year ago after former president, Graham Spanier, was forced out as a result of the sex scandal involving former assistant football coach, Jerry Sandusky. Architects to discuss controversial design of proposed Eisenhower Memorial Sept. 18
Milton W. Grenfell, of Grenfell Architecture PLC and vice president of the National Civic Art Society, and Roger K. Lewis, Washington Post columnist and professor emeritus of architecture at the University of Maryland, will discuss the proposed Eisenhower Memorial at a Newsmaker on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. in the club's Zenger Room. The NPC Travel Committee will hold a reception on Tuesday, September 18th at 7:00 p.m. in the Murrow Room to discuss upcoming trips.
