Looking for a fun way to experience the presidential debates that begin next month or are you a journalist covering the debates for work or fun? Come watch or cover them with fellow National Press Club members and bring your friends. There will be a working area for journalists and debates will be shown in the NPC's Reliable Source's Truman Lounge for members only. Varmus to discuss impediments to cancer research at 10 a.m. Sept. 25
Nobel Laureate Dr. Harold Varmus, director of the National Institutes of Health’s National Cancer Institute, will discuss the barriers that impede the nation’s ability to make faster progress against cancer during a National Press Club Newsmaker that begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25.
