'Honor Flight' film, discussion on tap Nov. 27
The story of how a Wisconsin community pooled resources to fly its remaining World War II veterans to visit the World War II memorial in Washington, D.C., is the subject of a documentary film, “Honor Flight,” that will be screened at the National Press Club on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 6:30 p.m. A brief panel discussion featuring the film’s director, Don Hayes, will follow the screening.
