National Press Club journalism contest recognizes photo excellence
The National Press Club’s journalism contest will present awards for excellence in news photography for the first time this year. The contest will recognize excellence for an individual news photo and for a news picture story (with a maximum of nine photos). The contest is limited to photos taken during 2012. The photo awards are intended to honor professional photojournalists who have produced outstanding work, either independently for news organizations or as employees of those news organizations.
