The National Press Club will host its third Debate Watch Party of the 2016 campaign at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 13 in the conference rooms. With huge TV audiences for the two Republican debates so far, the Club events have sold out quickly. Now it's the Democrats' turn. Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will discuss the U.S. Conference of Mayors' Baltimore Compact -- an agenda that mayors want to put before the 2016 presidential candidates -- at a National Press Club luncheon Oct. 7. Rawlings-Blake, whose city was hit by riots following the death of Freddie Gray in April, will appear shortly after the conference's leadership meeting, where they will develop the agenda.
