The National Press Club will close Jan. 2 in observance of New Year's Day. Because the holidays occur on Sunday this year, they also are observed on Monday. Want to help fight for press freedom? The National Press Club Journalism Institute is offering a press freedom fellowship to shine a light on barriers to press freedoms abroad and in the United States. Individuals with expertise or interest are invited to seek the one-year, part-time position. A monthly stipend will be provided.
