Christy Turlington Burns, founder & CEO of the nonprofit Every Mother Counts, will appear at the National Press Club for a screening of two short films titled “Giving Birth in America” at 5 p.m. March 8 in the Club’s ballroom. There is no charge for this event, but registration is required. U.S. senator to speak about truth, falsehoods & state of politics at NPC luncheon
U.S. Senator Jeff Flake from Arizona, who has earned a reputation for being one of the most outspoken legislators in Washington, will deliver a speech entitled “Truth, Falsehood, and the Dangerous State of Our Politics: A Way Forward,” at a National Press Club Headliners Luncheon on March 15.
