Disabled Veterans Memorial
Gary Sinise spoke about injured American service personnel and the campaign to build a $65 million memorial site near the U.S. Capitol building to the 3 million living disabled veterans and those who have passed away. Mr. Sinise, who portrayed a disabled veteran in the movie Forest Gump, was recently named spokesman for the Disabled Veterans Life Memorial Foundation. Army Staff Sergeant Bagge spoke about his experiences in Iraq and the sacrifices of disabled veterans. Following their remarks Mr. Sinese answered questions from the audience.
