NPC Freelance Committee Soiree
These periodic, casual get-togethers, sponsored by the Freelance Committee, are open forums to discuss various topics of interest to freelancers. With Halloween right around the corner, the focus of this soiree will be our fears. Being a freelancer can be scary. We’ll talk about some of the things that spook us and how to overcome them. A couple of examples: lack of health insurance and benefits, the roller coaster of an erratic income. Bring your own list of “things that go bump in the night” to discuss. No RSVP necessary. NPC New Member Orientation
Are you a new member of National Press Club? Want to learn more about what the Club has to offer you? You can find out at a choice of two New Member Orientation sessions Wednesday, March 12. To fit members' schedules, the Club's Membership Department is offering sessions at both breakfast and lunch. The breakfast orientation will begin at 8:30 a.m., the lunch session at noon.
