Calling all History enthusiasts! NPC's archivist, Jeffrey Schlosberg, is leading a tour through The National Press Club Archives to share our Club's history and the history of journalism in the Washington DC area. Enjoy stories told through collections of archival materials from the National Press Club, the Washington Press Club (formerly the Women’s National Press Club), and The Gridiron Club that have been preserved throughout the Club's history beginning in 1908. Join us for a special program presented by the Press Freedom Center at The National Press Club to analyze the October 13, 2023 attack on journalists from Reuters, Agence France Press and Al Jazeera. Tour of the Club's Broadcast Operations Center
You must be a NPC member to attend and registration is required.
Join us for a tour of the Club’s Broadcast Operations Center (BOC) at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17. Randy Hall, NPC's Director of Facilities and Media, will provide the tour. You will go behind-the-scenes of the magic that the BOC staff performs for Club events as well as satellite media tours, media training, webcasting, and TV and video production. The facility features two studios, two post-production suites and transmission services via satellite, fiber or IP.
