Secretary of the U.S. Army Ryan McCarthy will deliver an address at a National Press Club Headliners Luncheon on Friday, February 14. A former combat veteran and Lockheed Martin executive, McCarthy was sworn in to office as the 24th secretary of the Army on September 30, 2019. The dinner will come from the cookbook, "Discovering Tunisian Cuisine" by Judy Hallet, a documentary filmmaker-turned-author. She first discovered Tunisian food as a Peace Corps volunteer and returned to the country 50 years later with her husband Stanley, an architecture professor who had been asked to help transform the architectural design studios at a private university in Tunis.
