General Membership Meeting
The National Press Club will hold a general membership meeting for all Club members at noon Friday, Oct. 21, in the Conference Rooms. There will not be a livestream, so please plan accordingly to attend in-person. Members will receive membership updates and Club leadership will speak on matters related to an annual dues increase. The Broadcast-Podcast team will be joined by special guest Brad Mielke of ABC's "Start Here" Podcast on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 6pm. The National Press Club History & Heritage team will salute Mesfin Mekonen, manager of the Reliable Source restaurant and bar, on Friday, Oct. 21 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Reliable Source. National Press Club President Jen Judson will recognize journalist and communicator members for outstanding service to the Club at the Vivian Awards ceremony on Wednesday, December 14 at 6:00 p.m. The presentation will take place at the National Press Club in the First Amendment Lounge and is open to those Club members who are actively involved with one of the Club's 14 teams. "The Vivians" are named after former club president Vivian Vahlberg and honor the Club's top volunteers.
