David Beckmann, president of Bread for the World and this year's winner of the World Food Prize, will speak on “Eliminating Hunger: the People and Congress” at a National Press Club luncheon on Sept. 13. Beckmann, an economist and ordained Lutheran minister, was named a World Food Prize laureate in June.
