Deborah Lee James, the 23rd secretary of the Air Force, will speak at a National Press Club luncheon on Dec. 2. James will speak about budget cuts, sexual assaults and other issues facing the Air Force The Press Cub luncheon begins at 12:30 p.m. James’ talk will begin at 1 p.m.., followed by a question-and-answer session that ends at 2 p.m. The cost of luncheon admission is $23 for NPC members and $37 for non-members. NPC President John Hughes will talk about his other job as a breaking-news editor for Bloomberg News at the Communicators Breakfast on Wednesday, July 29 at 8:30 a.m. in the NPC's Truman Lounge.
