With many newsrooms closed and space for the press limited at debate sites, the National Press Club is pleased to support the Commission on Presidential Debates and proud to serve as the official Washington, D.C. Press Filing Center for the 2020 general election and vice presidential debates. Vivian Awards
National Press Club President Jen Judson will recognize journalist and communicator members for outstanding service to the Club at the Vivian Awards ceremony on Wednesday, December 14 at 6:00 p.m. The presentation will take place at the National Press Club in the First Amendment Lounge and is open to those Club members who are actively involved with one of the Club's 14 teams. "The Vivians" are named after former club president Vivian Vahlberg and honor the Club's top volunteers.
