Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will discuss the U.S. Conference of Mayors' Baltimore Compact -- an agenda that mayors want to put before the 2016 presidential candidates -- at a National Press Club luncheon Oct. 7. Rawlings-Blake, whose city was hit by riots following the death of Freddie Gray in April, will appear shortly after the conference's leadership meeting, at which time they will develop the agenda. The National Press Club plans to follow up its successful first Debate Watch Event with Debate Watch II on Sept 16. The Debate Watch II Event will move to the 13th Floor First Amendment Lounge. We will air the entire varsity debate. There will be a charge of $15 for non members and $10 for members. We will wrist band ticket holders who will get access to snacks and your first drink ticket.
