The National Press Club cordially invites embassy press attachés to join Club members for an exclusive reception on Thursday, November 2, from 6-8 p.m. The bi-annual press attaché mixer aims to bring together Washington’s diplomatic community with the National Press Club’s vibrant network of journalists. The event, which is sponsored by the Club’s International Correspondents Committee, is an opportunity for journalists to build relations with embassy officials from the countries they cover. Long-time NPC member and artist Carol Morgan presents her photo collection and essay, about an innovative urban agriculture project in her neighborhood, at the next Photo Team meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 12:00 to 2:00 pm, in the Cosgrove Lounge.
