Photographing Elections: Documenting the 2020-2022 Election Cycles
National Press Club members can learn how photojournalist Sue Dorfman created a comprehensive visual chronicle of the 2020, 2021, and 2022 U.S. election cycles at the Photography Team's next meeting on Thursday, March 1 at 12:00 noon in the Cosgrove Lounge. The session begins with a self-funded lunch from the Reliable Source at 12:00 noon. Dorfman's talk follows at 1:00 pm, and will also be available by Zoom. The next luncheon meeting of American Legion Post 20 will be held on Wednesday, June 21 at noon in the Cosgrove Room at the National Press Club. The guest speaker will be Rear Admiral Tim Woods of Britain's Royal Navy. Admiral Woods is Britain's Defense Attache in Washington, and he previously served as Defense Attache in Ukraine. Diane Rehm will be the guest of honor at the Legends of Broadcast dinner being held Thursday, May 18 at 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Holeman Lounge Rehm is a native Washingtonian who began her radio career in 1973 as a volunteer for WAMU 88.5, the NPR member station in Washington, D.C.
