The National Press Club's Young Members Committee is hosting their quarterly networking happy hour for reporters and communicators to get to know each other and to learn how the club can help strengthen relationships between hacks and flacks. Please join us for cocktails and light fare on Wednesday, April 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 in the Holeman Lounge. Tickets are $5 for members and $10 for non-members. There will be a cash bar. A free drink ticket and light appetizers are included in the price of the ticket.

NPC Luncheon with Bob Bowlsby, Big 12 Commissioner
Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby will discuss whether substantive change is possible in the current environment of college athletics at a National Press Club luncheon on Monday, Sept. 21. The Big 12 has two of the top four teams in the 2015 preseason football bowl subdivision poll. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m.; followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $23 for Press Club members (NPC members may purchase two tickets at this rate) and $37 for all other non-member tickets.
