"Codebreaker" Film Screening and Panel Discussion
On October 4, in advance of a premiere in theatres later in the month and a national cable TV broadcast later this year, NPC members and guests are invited to a sneak preview and panel discussion of "Codebreaker", an acclaimed new 53-minute film about Alan Turing’s heroic life, tragic death and lasting legacy. The screening and panel discussion will begin at 7 p.m., preceded by a ticketed reception at 6 p.m.

Photo Team to hear photographer and activist Nancy Shia
D.C. community photographer and activist Nancy Shia will talk about her acclaimed Out My Window photo collection at the next National Press Club Photography Team meeting on Thursday, July 15 at 11:30 am in the Cosgrove Lounge. The Out My Window collection chronicles Shia's 40 years living in D.C. at Ontario Road and Columbia Road NW, and the changes taking place in the Adams Morgan and surrounding neighborhoods over that time.
