The National Press Club will mark the anniversary of the abduction and detention of Award-winning journalist and Marine veteran Austin Tice on Friday, August 14 by unveiling a Freedom Clock that will display a dynamic record of the time Austin has been unjustly detained in Syria. The event will take place in the lobby of the Club by the staircase at noon, Aug. 14. Reservations are required for contact tracing reasons. This year's exhibit displays members' print photos and electronic images in the Club's 13th floor lobby from Aug. 30 to Sept 27, with a special opening reception on Friday, Sept. 6. The exhibit's opening reception is on Friday, Sept. 6 at 6:30 pm.
