World Trade Organization Director-General Roberto Azevêdo will speak at a National Press Club Speakers luncheon on Friday, Oct. 7. Azevêdo became the sixth Director-General of the WTO in September 2013. In a statement earlier this week, the WTO said that world trade will grow more slowly than expected in 2016.
