Sponsored by Members of Congress will face off against members of the news media in an event moderated by the Scripps National Spelling Bee at 7pm on Oct. 21, 2015. The event, sponsored by Discovery Communications, will also feature a performance by the 90s cover band sensation White Ford Bronco. Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will discuss the U.S. Conference of Mayors' Baltimore Compact -- an agenda that mayors want to put before the 2016 presidential candidates -- at a National Press Club luncheon Oct. 7. Rawlings-Blake, whose city was hit by riots following the death of Freddie Gray in April, will appear shortly after the conference's leadership meeting, at which time they will develop the agenda.
