NPC Luncheon with Ben Bernanke, Chairman, Federal Reserve
Ben Bernanke, the chairman of the Federal Reserve, will address the National Press Club at a luncheon on February 3, 2011. The head of the Federal Reserve is often called the “second most powerful position in the country.” Bernanke has steered the economy through the greatest economic crisis since the Great Depression and will discuss the burgeoning economic recovery. Dr. Steven Chu, Secretary of Energy, will talk about accelerating innovation to help meet our energy and climate goals at a National Press Club luncheon on Monday, November 29.
