Dr. Margaret Hamburg, the outgoing commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, will speak at a National Press Club Newsmaker Luncheon on March 27. Dr. Hamburg, the FDA commissioner since May 2009, announced her retirement from the agency on Feb. 5. She will step down in late March.
