Gwen Ifill, moderator and managing editor of "Washington Week" and co-anchor and managing editor of the "PBS NewsHour" has been selected as the 2015 recipient of the Fourth Estate Award, the National Press Club's most-honored prize. Ifill will receive the award at a gala dinner on Thursday, Oct. 15. NPC Dinner with Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will speak at a National Press Club dinner April 16. Ban, who succeeded Kofi Annan in 2007 and won a re-election in 2011, will become the sixth UN secretary-general to speak at the NPC. The event will follow the typical NPC luncheon format, except that it will be a dinner.
