Pub Quiz
Join fellow club members and their guests on Thursday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 for trivia, food, drinks, prizes and camaraderie. Pub Quiz is a great opportunity to gather with friends over food and drinks and to meet new friends and members, so gather a team of four and come to the Reliable Source’s Truman Lounge. Veteran Pub Quiz emcee Marc Wojno will be on hand. Space fills up quickly, so be sure to arrive early to grab a table. Don’t have a team? No worries - we’ll team you up. Young Members Happy Hour
Club members who are 35 years old or younger are invited to connect over tacos. Come network with fellow young members while learning about the Young Members Team and how to get involved. The Young Members Team leads events for members under 36. Some of these events include Piano Talks with journalism leaders, networking mixers and the annual Politicians vs. Press Spelling Bee. Expand your professional network in a relaxed atmosphere. Forge connections with like-minded individuals across the journalism and communication industries. Toast to Bill McCarren
Since the mid-'80s, Bill McCarren has been an essential part of the National Press Club, first as a Club member, then as a general manager in 2007, and then as executive director since 2010.
