Oceans and Energy
Admiral Watkins talked about the state of ocean research. Among the issues he addressed were various on-going scientific projects, the future of ocean monitoring and research, and the importance of ocean research to the economy and human health. Following his remarks he answered questions from the audience on a number of issues including energy policy.
