Last day to register for Journalism Institute golf tourney, April 17

The deadline is approaching, but there’s still time to register for at the National Press Club Journalism Institute’s 4th Annual Golf Invitational Tournament on Friday, April 17, at the beautiful Country Club at Woodmore in nearby Mitchellville, Md.

Sign up now and invite your friends to join the competition and create your own foursome.

The outing, a fundraiser for the non-profit Institute, will begin with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.

Registration at the NPC member rate costs $125 and includes breakfast, access to the driving range, swag bags, lunch at-the-turn, and an awards ceremony in the clubhouse. The tournament is open to members of the public for $150 per golfer.

The 18-hole course, designed by Arnold Palmer, features a traditional layout, offering a variety of challenging holes. The Country Club at Woodmore has been rated as one of the top 10 golf courses in Maryland by Golf Digest.
