What does Hillary Clinton's email episode mean for open government? Panel to discuss April 9
A distinguished panel of open government advocates will discuss the policy implications raised by media coverage of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's choice to use a private server for communicating by email at a National Press Club Newsmakers news conference Thursday, April 9, at 10 a.m. in the Bloomberg Room.
The panel will be headed by Jason R. Baron, an internationally recognized expert in e-discovery and co-chair of a new Information Governance Initiative. He is former director of litigation for the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
Other panelists include Thomas S. Blanton, director, National Security Archive, George Washington University; Liz Icenogle, director of Government Affairs, ARMA International; and Patrice McDermott, executive director, OpenTheGovernment.org.
