IRS Commissioner John Koskinen to Speak at NPC March 31

As the April 15 tax deadline approaches, John Koskinen, commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service, will speak at a National Press Club luncheon on March 31.

The theme of Koskinen’s speech is “The IRS: Learning from the Past; Building for the Future.” Koskinen will address a number of issues, including GOP efforts to cut the IRS budget and what effect that might have on the agency’s customer service and collection efforts.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. with the speech beginning at 1 p.m. and ending at 2 p.m. Cost of tickets is $23 for Press Club members along with one guest, and $37 for non-members. Club Members who wish to attend the pre-luncheon reception must RSVP separately to [email protected] no later than 48 hours before the event. Space may be limited. You must have a paid reservation to the luncheon to attend the VIP reception.
