Lobsters crawl into summer at Fourth Estate, June 25
Celebrate the solstice and the start of summer in Washington at the Fourth Estate restaurant's Lobster Night from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 25.
National Press Club members pay $25 and non-members $30 for a steamed 1 ¼ pound Maine Lobster with coleslaw (or salad) and choice of french fries or oven crisped new potatoes.
Boiled lobsters are a great way to welcome visiting guests to a Washington summer.
Reservations are requested 24 hours in advance to assure a lobster. Call 202-662-7638. A very limited number of lobsters will be available for those without a reservation.
The regular Fourth Estate menu will be available for non-lobster lovers, featuring vegetarian spinach ravioli with asparagus and wild mushrooms, wild Alaskan sockeye salmon and hand-cut Certified Angus beef steaks.
A new dessert menu features cayenne-spiced pineapple granita, strawberry & rhubarb cobbler and an array of locally made ice creams and sorbet.
