D.C. Youth Wildlife Photo Show, June 13 at National Press Club
Young wildlife photographers from Washington, D.C. will display their work in the National Press Club lobby on Friday, June 13, with a program and reception in the Bloomberg Room beginning at 6:00 pm.
The five young photographers displaying their digital images are participants in Birds Connect DC, a new workshop for young local photographers sponsored by the D.C. Bird Alliance. The multi-day workshop in April provided instruction in wildlife photography, with discussions of educational and career opportunities in environmental sciences for students.
The students' photos will be on display in the Club's main lobby all day on Friday, June 13. D.C. The reception, with a cash bar, is free for NPC members and guests. RSVPs are required.
