Freelancer Team Meeting

The National Press Club freelancers' group is an opportunity for members to go-it alone, together. Our monthly meetings via Zoom offer freelancers a chance to talk shop, meet editors and hear from experts to help strengthen their business.

For this month's meeting (Thursday, July 17, at 12pm via Zoom) we'll continue our discussion on the often overlooked opportunities of publishing in university alumni magazines. We'll be joined by top editors from three of the best: Brown University, the University of Connecticut and Johns Hopkins University. They'll talk about how their magazines are made, what they're looking for in a freelancer, and they'll hear honed pitches from the group.
