Books & Brunch to discuss 'Long Island' on Saturday, April 19

The National Press Club Books & Brunch group will meet virtually at noon Saturday, April 19, to discuss "Long Island" by Colm Toíbín.

"Long Island" reconnects 20 years later with the characters in Toíbín's bestselling 2009 novel "Brooklyn," which follows Ellis Lacey, a young Irish woman who leaves home to find work in 1950s New York. "Long Island" center's on Ellis Lacey's response to her husband's betrayal.
