Celebrate Valentine's Day at Reliable Source, Friday

Everyone’s favorite unofficial holiday – Valentine’s Day – is coming up fast. Plan now to celebrate it on Friday, Feb. 14, at the Reliable Source at the National Press Club.

Whether you’re celebrating with your Valentine or your favorite gal pals, a special a prix fixe dinner menu and live music  await you. The combination promises to be the perfect evening of delicious food, specialty cocktails and great company.

The music is expected to be provided by violinist Russell Wilson, a member of the United States Marine Band who also is a pianist and plays the accordion. He plays at state dinners, receptions and other events at the White House.

• Crudo of Tuna with black truffle, cucumber broth, and Tobiko caviar
• Risotto with homemade basil pesto and mixed mushrooms

Main Course (choice of):

• Petite Filet with peppercorn demi, asparagus, garlic flan, and beet infusion
• Baked Jumbo Prawns Provençale with Pomme Casserole (Swiss cheese) and asparagus
• Roasted Vegetable Terrine with Sauce Vierge

Dessert

• Chocolate Ganache Heart Duo with pomegranate coulis
