Latino Business Leaders Unite to Form Powerful Immigration Advocacy Coalition

On Friday, January 17, a coalition of Latino and Mexican American business leaders including those who backed President Trump will announce the Comité de 100, an organization focused on supporting and advocating for bipartisan immigration reform, prioritizing border security, catalyzing economic growth and providing legal status for law abiding dreamers, farm workers, spouses and parents of US citizens, and essential workers. The Comité de 100 is a first-of-its-kind organization uniting Latino and Mexican American owned businesses across agriculture, hospitality, construction and health care.

The launch event will feature prominent Latino business leaders, including:

• Massey Villarreal, CEO and President of Precision Task Group, Inc.
• Sam Sanchez, Founder and CEO of Samco Enterprises and Third Coast Hospitality, National Restaurant Association Board Member
• George Carrillo, CEO of the Hispanic Construction Council
• Alma Aguilar, Mexican American Chamber of Commerce, Florida
• Jaime DiPaulo, CEO of the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
