American Legion Post 20 Meeting

Due to a speaker cancellation, American Legion Post 20 has changed plans for its Jan. 8 meeting. Post 20 member and Military Veterans in Journalism founder Zack Baddorf will lead a panel discussion on various media/military issues. Topics will include politicization of the military and its impact on the military / veteran community, the challenge of reaching audiences across a partisan divide, and the importance of nuanced military / veterans affairs coverage. The panel will include Post 20 members Kevin Wensing, Jim Noone, Ken Dalecki, Evelyn Moy, possibly with other panelists yet to be named.
 

The luncheon meeting will take place at noon in the McClendon Room.

The discussion will be conducted under Chatham House rules, meaning no outside coverage or social media sharing other than the Zoom connection. All Press Club members are invited.

Post 20 has been affiliated with the Press Club for more than a century. The post was founded at the suggestion of famed World War I General John J. Pershing.
