Club archives tour scheduled for Nov. 22 is sold out
The members-only tour of the National Press Club Archives on Oct. 18 was so popular it reached capacity. Now the second scheduled tour for Friday, Nov. 22, is also at capacity.
But watch The Wire for updates on when another tour will be scheduled, probably in 2025.
The members-only tours include stories of the National Press Club's history dating back to 1908, and the history of journalism in the Washington area, during a tour of the collection of artifacts housed on the 4th floor of the National Press Building.
Jeffrey Schlosberg, the NPC's archivist, leads the archives tour. The Archives preserve collections of materials from the Club, the Washington Press Club (formerly the Women’s National Press Club), and the Gridiron Club.
