Library of Congress folklife specialist to address History and Heritage Team lunch, Today

Nancy Groce, senior folklife specialist at the Library of Congress, will speak at the next meeting of the National Press Club’s History and Heritage Team at noon Wednesday, Nov. 13, in the Cosgove Lounge.

Groce produces and hosts “America Works,” a podcast that explores the work lives of average Americans. The program is in its sixth season.

Prior to joining the Library of Congress in 2007, Groce spent seven years as a curator at the Smithsonian’s Center for Folklife & Cultural Heritage. She also is the author of the “Musicians Jokebook,” which was published by Schemer Books/Macmillan.
