Please join the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) for a briefing announcing the release of the AACR Cancer Progress Report 2024 on Wednesday, September 18, at 11:30 a.m. ET.
Now in its 14th year, the AACR Cancer Progress Report is a cornerstone of the AACR’s efforts to educate policymakers and the public about cancer, highlight the remarkable progress we are making against the disease, and advocate for robust, sustained, and predictable annual funding increases for the NIH, NCI, FDA, and CDC. The report underscores how recent advances across the cancer care continuum, including immunotherapy and molecularly targeted therapies, are helping cancer patients and their loved ones. This year’s report also includes a spotlight on childhood and adolescent and young adult cancers.
Briefing participants will include AACR President Patricia M. LoRusso, DO, PhD (hc), FAACR, and cancer survivors who will share their personal stories.
