The National Press Club marked 12 years since Austin Tice's abduction in Syria on Aug. 14, 2024. Country music rising star Scotty Hasting, an Army veteran who served in Afghanistan, performed two sets of his music. In-between sets, speakers including his employers, his CO, government officials and his family spoke about Austin, his life and their efforts to bring him home.
