Crab cakes return to Reliable Source; reserve a table
The bartender is standing by -- and would like to know if you're coming over this evening.
Although walk-ins are always welcome, the National Press Club would love for you to make a reservation when you’re planning to have dinner at the Reliable Source on Thursday or Friday.

The Reliable Source is open for lunch Mondays through Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., as well as for dinner on Thursdays and Fridays. The bar remains open after lunch service on Thursday and Friday through dinner service, which begins at 4:30 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m., when the kitchen closes for the night. Don’t forget Taco Night every Friday beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Come on over. Bring your family and friends. Make a reservation online.
You might say the Club is test-driving expanding the number of days it is open for dinner. It would help Reliable Source manager Mesfin Mekonen and his team greatly to be able to plan to have the right number of staff on hand to give patrons the outstanding service they are known for.
And, now is your chance to enjoy a true summer classic!
Crab cakes are returning to the menu after last year’s crab shortage. Other menu highlights include salmon and New York steak. If you take the Metro or walk to the Club, you can use all that money you are saving on gas to treat yourself.
If you're putting together a big gathering, the McClendon Room and Cosgrove Lounge are available for Club members to host a reception, dinner or party. Contact Reliable Source management ([email protected]; 202-662-7443 ) for details.
