Club launches Freelance Team

Whether you’re a seasoned freelancer or one of the many journalists and communicators who’ve decided recently to test the waters of independent work, the National Press Club is creating a community for people to go-it-alone together. The new team is an opportunity for freelancers to talk shop, expand their resources, and learn from (and alongside) each other. 

Co-led by Danny Freedman and Menachem Wecker, Freelance Team meetings might include opportunities to meet editors, workshop story pitches, and learn from experts about negotiating rates and contracts. To join the team and hear about future events, click here.
