Joe Lockhart, a corporate spokesperson and communications consultant, and also known for being former President Bill Clinton's White House press secretary, will be the featured guest at the National Press Club's Communicator Legend Dinnertime Conversation -- via Zoom -- on Thursday, April 29 from 6-7 p.m.

During the session, Lockhart will talk about his career path from politics to corporations and the importance of communicators having a seat in the C-Suite to advise business decisions. He also will take questions from Club members joining the call.

In addition to Clinton, Lockhart served as press secretary for several other Democratic politicians, including Walter Mondale, Paul Simon and Michael Dukakis.  He was also an advisor to John Kerry during his 2004 presidential campaign.

Lockhart founded and was managing director of the communications consulting firm Glover Park Group. He later was head of corporate, policy and international communications at Facebook, and then executive vice president of communications and public affairs for the National Football League (NFL).

This program is free and open to National Press Club members ONLY. Members may register online.
