Tribute to Hunter S. Thompson
The National Press Club hosted a special tribute to the late Hunter S. Thompson. Colleagues and friends of the counter-culture author and journalist who died earlier in the year discussed Thompson's impact on journalism, culture and politics. Corey Seymour was Hunter Thompson's editorial assistant at Rolling Stone magazine and co-editor of the magazine's tribute issue to Hunter Thompson. Frank Mankeiwicz was manager of George McGovern's 1972 presidential campaign. There are three brief uses of language during this event that may be objectionable to some viewers. ~ The panel followed a comedy event celebrating April Fool's Day.
