Club candidates to address American Legion Post 20 forum, Dec. 3

Candidates for National Press Club offices will appear at an annual open forum hosted by American Legion Post 20 at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 3, in the McClendon Room.  All Club members are invited to join Legionnaires in hearing brief presentations by candidates for election.

Online voting is underway now and ends Friday, Dec. 6. In person voting will be held on Dec. 6.

The 10 candidates for 2020 officer and board positions have been invited to discuss their goals, priories and qualifications and take questions.   

Club presidential candidate Mike Freedman and vice presidential candidate Lisa Matthews are among those who plan to attend what has become an annual affair for the Post which is celebrating its centennial year.
