The Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, the Honorable Dr. Timothy Harris, will be visiting the National Press Club this Friday, May 24th, at 3 p.m.
In addition to his duties as head of state, Dr. Harris is also currently serving at the Chair of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), an organization of fourteen Caribbean nations established to promote economic integration and cooperation among its members as well as a shared foreign policy.
In these toles, Dr. Harris will be making himself available to press to discuss several key topical issues affecting Caribbean nations including climate change, hurricane disaster relief efforts, the Venezuela crisis, correspondent banking, and the digital economy.
Timothy Sylvester Harris has served as the third Prime Minister of the independent Saint Kitts and Nevis since 2015 and previously served as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister for Finance, and Minister for Agriculture. Before running for Prime Minister, he formed the People's Labour Party which he now leads.
