Stepping Down from the Ivory Tower
Mr. Dobelle talked about the importance of the liberal arts in a college education. He was critical of colleges and universities which he described as complacent, seeking self preservation rather than real education. He said that colleges should use their resources to help build communities and perform more outreach work. After his remarks he answered questions from the audience.
